What to expect during your fist session
Please report to Reception at 1 Harley Street when you arrive for your session.
If you are running late or there is a problem with your appointment, please call us on 0800 246 1017 and leave a voicemail or alternatively, just drop us an email. We check these at regular intervals
Duration of appointment
Your first appointment is scheduled for up to 90 minutes. However, please allow 2 hours for your session.We only end the session when the work is done - not because your time is up!
What happens during the session?
Our philosophy is to always help you in as few sessions as possible. Feedback from our clients demonstrates that amazing results can be achieved in as little as one or two sessions.
In order to do this, we need to find out as much as we can about the issue that you're seeking treatment for.
We'll begin the session by explaining how Hypnotherapy works and what you can expect to feel when you're 'hypnotised'.
The first hour or so of your session will mainly be you talking. Once we know exactly what you're seeking treatment for and have ascertained whether there are any underlining issues, we can begin the Hypnosis.
What to bring
In order for the session to be beneficial and effective, you need to be relaxed.
Please feel free to bring with you anything that helps you feel comfortable.
You'll likely be doing quite a bit of talking during the first hour of the session so you might find it helpful to bring a hot or cold drink with you too.
Please note that we are unable to provide any refreshments so as a minimum, you may want to bring a bottle of water with you.
Attending with family or friends
We understand that you may be a little nervous attending your first session, especially if you've never tried Hypnotherapy before. Whilst we assure you that there's nothing to be nervous of, you are welcome to attend your first session accompanied by a friend or relative for support - should you wish.
Your companion is welcome to stay for the initial discussion during which we'll explain the process to you in more detail. However, we respectfully ask your companion to wait in Reception (or they can enjoy a little retail therapy on Oxford Street) during the remainder of your session.
In order for the session to be of benefit to you, you need to be able to speak freely, in confidence and without the fear of judgement. For these reasons, sessions need to be conducted in private.
Post session support
You can contact us at any time after your session via phone or email. We love to hear from our clients so if you have any queries or feedback, please feel free to get in touch anytime. Your emails make our day!
We'll also check in with you via email a few days after your session to see how you're getting on.

When to book your next session
Only you will know if you need another session and when that session should be.
Our philosophy is to help you as much as we can in as few sessions as possible, so you don't have to keep coming back.,
Most clients experience 'shifts' in their feelings or behaviour after just one or two sessions. These shifts will be enough for you to overcome the issue you were seeking treatment for.
Our review section includes information on the number of sessions each client has had so you can see for yourself how much can be achieved in such a short space of time.
Everyone is different however. We all have our unique set of life experiences and issues that hold us back. Only you will know how many sessions you need based on how you feel afterwards. Some clients find that they are doing great for months or even years but then life throws them a curve ball and they fall off track. If you feel 'out of sorts', that's a good time to book your next session.
We've also found that when some clients start addressing one issue, eg fear of heights and they feel the amazing benefits of being free from this fear, they want to come back and 'clear out' anything else that's holding them back.
